Like babies, puppies are adorable and cuddly.  In fact, they are so adorable that at Christmastime and on other festive occasions, we often gift our children and other family members with a puppy.


When many dogs reach adulthood and have not been properly trained and become a burden on their owners, or their owners’ needs have changed, they are abandoned.  There is nothing more heart-wrenching than seeing an elderly dog left homeless on the streets after years of loving care, merely because the owner can no longer afford veterinary bills or provide the necessary care.


 Do not abandon me.  Do not leave me on the streets.  Reach out to your local rescue groups. 🐶
